Minneapolis Eats & Drinks

One thing I like to do for any city that I’m visiting is make a Google Map that has all of the Internet’s recommendations for places to eat, drink, and see. Obviously, I can’t include every place, but I like to cross reference a few trustworthy publications like:

• New York Times

• Food & Wine

• Bon Appetit

• Lonely Planet

• Travel & Leisure

• Atlas Obscura

• Others: blogs, local publications, personal recommendations

Usually if a place appears on 2+ of these spots, it’s a safe bet. My favorite though, is contacting someone who has lived there and intimately knows the area. While I plan on sharing more destinations as I go along, I thought I’d start with my Minneapolis Eats & Drinks map solely focused on, you guessed it, eating and drinking.

What’s different about this map is that it’s categorized by price point and then each description tells you what time of day and what is recommended. Some descriptions are pulled from places like MPLS mag while others are my own personal opinion. So take a look, bookmark it, and let me know what I’m missing!
